Where shall my wondering soul begin? How shall we all to heaven aspire?

While the light barely penetrates the grime on the church's stained glass and dust collects on the old church organ, there is a sense of shelter and sanctuary in this building.

It's quiet in here and, though a bit dark, there is a calm in this space that is lacking everywhere else on the island. The wooden pews are neatly laid out and of a width that would allow them to be used as makeshift beds in a pinch.
